The computer thing is pretty much dead already. I think it is very clear that Garret has posted a false system. Not only does it not exist. A VERY simular board, under the same make and model doesnt even support Athlon. Its a 478 socket motherboard and that only handels Pentium and Celeron

You admitted to not being able to even find your own MB online dumbass.
A photograph of my Mobo's schematics (stuck under the top cover of my case) is on the FTP site. User is once again "Guest", get my IP from the post in the FTP thread. Same password. (there isn't an anonymous section anymore, so there will be no more "failure to login" file..if you don't login correctly, it just won't work.)
It is a bit fuzzy, but you should be able to see the "Socket 754" above the processor...

The K8VT model series from Gigabyte, not only has no 800mhrz FSB model, but also is a 478 Socket Type board. So it dont matter. You've already gave me false information, why should I trust anything else you have.
Also I have said that my board is not made anymore. That you will only find the newest model which is a 800mhrz FSB. Here ill go get it so you can see the newer model.
http://www.pcclub.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=A4854849
there. Mine is over a year old so they dont sell it anymore. They dont even have it on MSI's page either. But PC club, where I bought my board, has the newest model.
In fact im thinking of buying that board. and I could sell my old one to either Pete or Kevin, whomever pays me more.
I'd like to add that the model you gave me for your board can be found in the topic Doom 3 page 4. You posted it yourself.

What the hell are you talking about? I know what model my board is(GA -KV8T800), and I have posted a photograph of the adhesive schematics that came with it. I am sorry if you think God is telling you I am wrong in the face of proof again...actually I don't really give a fuck. You need a lot of help cam.
And it is not that hard to find. A simple google returned over ten pages.

yeah...? I found out why i couldnt find your board. I was pretty sure it was a typo and it was. the "GA-" is part of the model code so thats why it picked up somehting else. At first i just figured its just for Gigabyte and didnt matter, but i did a search including GA- and i found it.

If you've got any spare change, check this site.
If not, speak with my father. He may have some spare cases, motherboards and other parts. You'll probably be on your own when it comes to monitors or keyboards. And the newest motherboard we have is old. We may have an ATX motherboard laying around with a Slot 1 processor slot, in which case you can have my motherboard, because I'll be taking that son-of-a-bitch.

people are just too cheap...people want to spend 30$ for a k7/LIF board cause its cheap, but you can get a brand new board for 60$. Most parts are cheap if you look for them...
Those fairs where they sell computers at low prices...sure.... PIII 400mhz with a 100mhz FSB with moust keyboard and 13inch monitor (old and about to give out) for 400$...
Geez you can buy a brand new board with monitor case and processor for even less than that.

Slot 733, eh, Mike? There is no Slot above 3; only Slot 1 and Slot 2. Assuming you mean an Intel 733 MHz processor, it must be Slot 1, Slot 2, or Socket 370.
Note: This was not meant as a blast, just in case you took it that way.

its a slot type...i got a 478 slot type...its the size of the unit and which processor its supports...
note: speed of the processor is 100% done on the motherboard....so processor speed type is just how much that unit will take before overheating...so the only important matter is the slot type
